Understanding the No Lunch Special Code

When employees answer the lunch break prompt by stating that they did not take a full lunch break, the No Lunch special code gets applied to the clockings and the proper pay is calculated.

Note:

When adding clockings, employees do not enter a No Lunch special code. Their answers to the Lunch Attestation prompts will apply the No Lunch special code automatically, when applicable.

The automatically applied No Lunch special code does not appear on the Time Card Screen, Time Card Report, or LaborViews.

Since Time and Attendance normally uses a No Lunch special code, your organization most likely has a code set up. And since there are no settings on the No Lunch special code that are specific to Lunch Attestation, you do not need to create another, or update an existing, No Lunch special code.

If you do not have a No Lunch special code set up, request assistance by contacting API Healthcare Customer Support. There are many indicators and parameters that need to be set correctly for your organization and it is beyond the focus of these instructions.
